Collection of general data and information

The website of Manao & Co collects a number of general data and information each time the website is accessed by a person or an automated system. This general data and information is stored in the log files of the server. This data can be collected:

- Referrer URL (the previously visited page)

When using this general data and information, Manao & Co does not draw any conclusions about the person concerned. Rather, this information is needed to correctly deliver the content of our website, to optimize the content of our website and the advertising for it, and to ensure the long-term functionality of our information technology systems and the technology of our website. The anonymous data of the server log files are stored separately from all personal data provided by a data subject.

Our company is hosted on the platform. provides us with the online platform to sell our products and services to you. Your information may be stored through's data stores, databases, and general applications. You store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. All direct payment gateways offered by and used by our company comply with PCI-DSS standards administered by the PCI Security Standards Council. This is a joint initiative of brands such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements ensure that credit card information is securely processed by our business and its service providers.

A contact form is available on our website, which can be used for electronic contact. If you send us an enquiry in this way, the data entered in the input mask will be transmitted to us and stored.

Alternatively, you can contact us via the e-mail address provided. In this case, the personal data of the user transmitted with the e-mail will be stored.

Right to limitation of processing

If one of the following conditions is met, you have the right to request that the processing of your data be restricted:

The accuracy of the personal data will be contested by the data subject for a period of time which will allow the data processor to verify the accuracy of the personal data.

The processing is unlawful and the data subject refuses to delete the personal data and instead requests that the use of the personal data be restricted.

The controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of processing, but the data subject needs them for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal rights.

The data subject has lodged an objection to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 para. 1 DS-GVO and it is not yet clear whether the legitimate reasons of the data controller outweigh those of the data subject.


Right to data transferability

You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to the Manao & Co in a structured, common and machine-readable format. Furthermore, you can claim that the Manao & Co transmits this data to a responsible person as far as this is technically feasible and as far as the rights and freedoms of other persons are not affected.


Right of objection

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons related to your particular situation. We will no longer process your personal data in the event of objection, unless we can prove compelling grounds for processing worthy of protection which outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.


Legal basis of the processing

Art. 6 I lit. a DSGVO serves our company as a legal basis for processing operations in which we obtain consent for a specific processing purpose. If the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, as is the case, for example, with processing operations that are necessary for the delivery of goods or the provision of other services or consideration, the processing is based on Art. 6 I lit. b DS-GVO. The same shall apply to such processing operations which are necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, for example in cases of inquiries regarding our products or services. If our company is subject to a legal obligation which makes the processing of personal data necessary, for example to fulfil tax obligations, the processing is based on Art. 6 I lit. c DS-GVO. In rare cases, the processing of personal data may become necessary in order to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person.

Modification of the data protection declaration

We reserve the right to amend this data protection declaration from time to time so that it always complies with current legal requirements or in order to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. when introducing new services.
